tracknfo ("the app") is a subscription and free-trial tracker built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what data the app uses, what it doesn't, and how the small number of third-party services it relies on are involved.
tracknfo has no account system, no sign-up, and no backend server of its own — there is no online account to create at any point. All the subscriptions, categories, and settings you enter are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this data. If you export a backup file, it is saved to a location you choose and shared only through the share method you pick — it is never sent to us.
Because there is no cloud sync, your data does not automatically transfer between devices or survive a reinstall. If you plan to reinstall the app, switch phones, or clear the app's storage, export a backup first (Settings → Export) so you can import it again afterwards — otherwise the data is lost.
tracknfo offers an optional one-time "Pro" unlock. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and validated using RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. When you make a purchase, Google and RevenueCat process the transaction and confirm your entitlement back to the app — we do not receive or store your payment details, which are handled entirely by Google Play. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy for details on how each service handles data.
tracknfo does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
Where EU/EEA data protection law (GDPR) applies, the limited processing described above relies on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:
We do not rely on consent as a legal basis because we do not collect personal data directly — your subscription and settings data never leaves your device.
RevenueCat and Google Play Billing may process purchase-related data on servers located outside the EU/EEA (including in the United States). Where this occurs, these providers rely on their own safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure an adequate level of protection. See their respective privacy policies linked above for details.
Since tracknfo does not operate a backend, there is no server-side retention period for your subscription data — it exists only on your device for as long as you keep the app installed, or until you delete it yourself. Purchase records related to the Pro unlock are retained by Google Play and RevenueCat per their own retention policies, as needed to maintain your entitlement and for legal/accounting obligations.
If GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
Because tracknfo does not collect or store personal data on any server, most of these requests can be satisfied simply by deleting the app or its data from your device. For anything related to the purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat, you can also contact those providers directly, or reach us at info@tracknfo.com and we'll help route the request.
